Statment
My work is born from a fascination with brilliance, color,
and the way light traverses and reflects through glass. I find my greatest
inspiration in the challenge of transforming what would otherwise be discarded.
By using irregular scraps of float glass destined for recycling, my process
resembles assembling a three-dimensional puzzle: random fragments come together
to give rise to abstract and figurative compositions that engage with the
viewer and tell unique stories.
Guided by the 'art of fire' I rely on glass fusing and
slumping techniques to shape the medium. Each firing opens up a territory for
continuous experimentation, where I test the limits of new techniques, forms,
and color palettes. Creating with glass is, to me, a constant dialogue between
the chaos of fragments and the harmony of the final piece.
I view each creation as a conceptual laboratory, defying
gravity, color, and form to transmute industrial glass into a vibrant, poetic,
and sustainable artistic expression.
